We are seeking to appoint a motivated, committed and enthusiastic Safeguarding Officer / Deputy DSL to join our Inclusion team, to ensure the right support at the right time is available to all our students.
Start Date: 13th April 2026 (earlier start available by negotiation)
Term: Permanent (You are required to complete a 26 working weeks probation period before the appointment is confirmed)
Hours: Equivalent to a 1.0 FTE contract 52 weeks per year equating to 37 hours per week over the year less the allowed holiday allowance.
Working Day: 8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday - Thursday,
8.00am to 3.30pm Friday (with 30 mins for a break each day).
Flexible working will be required to work outside of normal hours to ensure the caseload is completed, this may include evenings and during school holidays, and when initiatives to improve
safeguarding are introduced.
Grade: LG Grade 7, SCP 19-22 (Generic job description E9013A)
Actual salary: £35,412 - £38,220
